I grew up in a family of five. My dad was a lawyer who built something he could pass on. That idea — building something that was actually yours — always stayed with me.
I spent 24 years in direct sales. At my peak I was in the top 0.35% of my sales force. I had five directors in my organization and a business I was proud of. Then life shifted — and somewhere in the process of rebuilding, a friend said something I haven't been able to shake: "We don't actually own anything in these businesses."
She was right. I knew exactly what it would take to get back to where I'd been. And I knew that twenty years from now, I could still be in the same place. That wasn't enough anymore.
Then one Friday, an idea landed. I sat with it all weekend — which is not like me. By Monday morning it came out of my mouth while I was talking to my husband. Your Best Yes Travel was born.
When we planned our own family cruise, our travel advisor suggested a Junior Suite. I would never have thought of that on my own. It solved everything. We loved it. That's the kind of thinking I now bring to every family I work with.
I built this because I was the client first. I know what it costs — in time, energy, and mental load — to plan a trip for a family this size. And I know exactly how good it feels when someone just handles it.
